The NSBRI portfolio includes technologies that present attractive private investment opportunities because they are largely developed using federal funds awarded to academic institutions solving problems for NASA. The Industry Forum strives to enable the licensing of NSBRI-funded discoveries by partnering interested private sector entities with academic institutions and aggressively developing products with clear value to the general public. NSBRI does not claim an equity stake in, or intellectual property rights to, the resulting products.
